I discovered Michelle Phan in 2008 when I was sick at home.  AS I was bed ridden and restless I was happy I found an awesome outlet on beauty tutorials through YouTube.  After browsing and watching countless videos, I was hooked on hers.  She seems genuine and personable and her beauty tutorials were transformational.  I also love that she offers DYI, “Do It Yourself” ideas and other fun alternatives on beauty remedies at home.  The overall quality of her videos stood out from the rest, with voice-over instructions and music, which made it that much more entertaining to watch.

I found Kandee Jonson around the same time I was watching Michelle Phan videos.  Kandee tutorials weren’t as fancy as Michelle’s, but what attracted me to her was her credentials and expertise.  She was a professional makeup artist, working amongst celebrities in Hollywood, so the advice she gave had more creditability and weight.  Plus she also had an awesome personality, and was a real mood lifter. In addition she does a lot of DYI videos too, see the pattern here?!

Product Review:

My first cleansing experience with the brush felt therapeutic and invigorating. I love how clean and fresh my face feels after using the Clarisonic. I definitely noticed the difference.  My skin was brighter and clearer compared to washing it with my hands.  The process was a lot more efficient thanks to the timer and the bristles were gentle enough to use daily. After several weeks of usages, my blackheads were less visible on my T zone.  My complexion was glowing and my pores seemed smaller. The health of my skin was getting noticeably better.  I have already raved to all my friends and they’re getting one too.  The only complaint I can think of is the bristles are starting to look a little dingy due to my makeup, but overall, before they use the brush, or should wash the brush head once a week to keep it clean.  Clarisonic is simply amazing!
